Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Fuksia Labs ("we") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the ClockIn for Jira app ("the App"), distributed through the Atlassian Marketplace and installed on Jira Cloud sites.

2. What data we collect
The App operates within the Atlassian Forge environment. The data we process is strictly necessary for the core function of work-time tracking and compliance:

3. Where data is stored
All data is stored exclusively through Atlassian's Forge Storage service, within Atlassian Cloud infrastructure. Fuksia Labs does not operate its own servers or external databases to store this data. Atlassian applies its own security and compliance measures, described in its Privacy Policy.
4. Legal basis for processing
The processing of this data is based on:
- Performance of a contract — time tracking is the core function of the App, contracted by the organization that installs it.
- Compliance with a legal obligation — working-time recording is a legal obligation for companies in Spain (Royal Decree-Law 8/2019) and in other European jurisdictions with similar regulations.
5. Data retention
Time records are retained for the period required by applicable labor law (in Spain, a minimum of 4 years under Article 34.9 of the Workers' Statute). Records are not physically deleted; deletions requested by the user are marked as such while the history is retained for audit purposes, without being shown in the user interface.
6. Who we share data with
We do not share, sell, or disclose data to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. Data is visible only to:
- The user themselves, regarding their own records.
- Users with manager or administrator roles within the same organization, according to the role configuration set by the administrator.
- Atlassian, as the infrastructure provider for the Forge Storage service the App runs on.
7. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, object to, or request portability of your data. Since the App operates within your organization, we recommend contacting your Jira site administrator first. You may also contact us directly at info@fuksia.com.
8. App uninstallation
If the organization's administrator uninstalls the App, data stored in Forge Storage is removed in accordance with Atlassian Forge's data retention policies following uninstallation.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App or applicable regulations. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this document.
